Brooke is now five months and is so sweet. She is the happiest little girl and smiles a lot. She adores Haley and gets so excited when she sees her. I'm hoping they will grow up to be great friends. Haley also loves her little sister and loves to give her kisses. Haley is talking up a storm and is a cute little dancer. She memorized some moves from the dance game with the xbox 360 kinect and does them while she is jumping on our bed. We just love our girls and are so blessed!

Baby Brooklyn is here. We decided to name her Brooklyn Emma Bostwick. She was born September 3rd at 4:07 pm and was 6 lbs 9 ounces and 19 inches long. She is so cute and Haley just loves her. She calls her Brooke. My labor went pretty well. They gave me the pictocin at 10:00 am and six hours later she came. She came really fast. The doctor broke my water at 1:00, left and went to a different hospital because he thought I would be another six hours or more but just three hours later she came. I went from a 7 to 10 in one hour. He didn't even have time to change when he got there because she was coming. I had to concentrate on not pushing until he got there. They gave me an epidural but it didn't work on my right side. They decided to redo it but it didn't kick in until right before I was supposed to push so now i officially know what contractions feel like at 10 cm....not fun!!! When they were replacing the epidural I could feel her coming down. My blood pressure went really low so that had to give me a shot in my hip because I was about to pass out when I was supposed to push. They also had to give me oxygen. Other than that everything went really well. I didn't tear or need an episiotomy (I don't think that I spelled that right) so that is making my recovery a lot better. Both myself and Brooklyn are doing really well. So far she is a great baby and we are just loving her!!! I will post some pictures of her soon but I just wanted to give a little update.

So we have officially moved to Washington. We are liking it here so far except our new place doesn't have AC! Luckily we are in the basement so it doesn't get too hot. Matt started school last week and he is liking it so far. We are pretty much moved in. I just have some organizing and picture hanging to do. There are a pretty good amount of members here so that is nice. There are even a few members in Matt's pharmacy class. Its funny though because he is known as 'the one from Utah.' The girls don't really want to talk to him because he is married with almost two kids and they can't date him, haha.

Brooklyn is due in about a week and a half but one of my doctors said it was ok to be induced at 39 weeks so that my mom has time to get here and watch Haley. He thought it would be a really good idea and I sure appreciate it! We are planning on getting induced September 3rd. There is a chance that we go into labor before then. At my appointment on Thursday he said that my cervix is completely ready (he was really suprised because I was only 38 weeks). He said there is a good chance I will go into labor before then so we will see what happens. We are really excited to meet her. Haley is getting anxious too. She LOVES babies and she comes and feels my belly all the time and knows her sisters name is Brooklyn. We don't have a middle name picked out so if you have any suggestions let me know!!! I was thinking maybe Marie but Matt thinks that everyone has that name. I still like it though. Anyways please share if you can think of a good one. We don't have a lot of time left. Thanks!!!

New Pregnancy Pics and Update on our MOVE!

So I am thirty weeks pregnant now! Getting closer but I feel like I have been pregnant forever and am so ready to be done but the baby needs to wait to come out until after we move. Our little girl is kicking and moving like crazy. Haley loves to feel my belly. We ask her where her baby sister is and she comes up and puts her hand on my belly....so cute! Haley is also talking up a storm. She learns a couple new words a day now and is doing so well. She is tall too!! She is still in the 60% for height. I'm crossing my fingers that she will be taller than me.

Also we will be moving to Pullman, Washington in August for Pharmacy school. We are moving at the beginning of August so about the 5th. Hopefully we get all of our insurance stuff figured out there or I might have to stay here and have the baby. Cross your fingers we get it all worked out so I don't have to be by myself out here with Haley. Anyways...here are two updated pregnancy pictures.

At about 18 weeks pregnant with baby #2...I am 21 weeks now so I will have to add more pictures. I wish I was still this small!!!! Your belly sure gets bigger faster after your first child. We are so so so excited though!

We are having a girl!!! Haley is going to have a little sister. This is her at 21 weeks when we went in for our appointment. She is a little over a pound so she is growing fast (I hope that means I will come earlier than my due date, haha). We are thinking of naming her Brooklyn but we are still working on a middle name. We just can't agree on one. Some ideas that we had were Marie because thats my great grandma's name but that is Matt's sisters middle name, my sisters middle name and two of my niece's middle name, haha. We were also thinking Nichole. Anyways....just wanted to give a little update. Brooklyn looks really goood and we are so excited!

Another update is that we are going to be going to Pharmacy school in the fall in Pullman, WA at Washington State. We are really excited to be starting that chapter of our lives. We have to be up there for orientation August 17th, and the baby is due September 9th so it is going to be a crazy time for us. Hopefully everything goes smoothly!

So Haley is almost 10 months! I can't believe it! She is using a sippy cup and is becoming such a big girl I can't handle it! She is getting more adorable by the day and Matt and I just love her so much! She is so entertaining and wonderful. At her nine and a half month appointment she was 27.5 inches long and 19 pounds. She was 50% in each of these areas. I am so proud! I just hope that she will be taller than me! Here are some cute pictures of Haley. My camera is being weird so these pictures are from my phone. Anniversary Weekend

So Matt and I went away for our anniversary in May. We stayed at one of the Marriot hotels. This is the kitchen in the room that we stayed in. It was really cute and came equipped with everything. We had so much fun at the hotel that we didn't want to leave!!!!

Haley is six and a half months now! She is getting so big so fast. She is in the 60th percentile in both weight and length so I'm crossing my fingers that she will be taller than me.

She tried baby food for the first time and really liked it! Actually at first she didn't but now she really does.

I can't believe Haley is 4 1/2 months already! She is getting so big too. She has the cutest chubby cheeks and cute chubby legs! Well everything is cute. She won't really smile at the camera so we have to try and trick her. She will just stare at it or make funny faces at it. I got an upside down picture of her smiling in this one though so you can see how cute her smile is.

Love the cheeks. She is getting better at holding up her chest. She now hold up her arms, legs, head and some of her chest all at the same time. Thats good for her because she does not like to cooperate during tummy time most of the time. She is so funny.

Here is one of her faces at the camera. It makes me laugh because she makes these faces that make her cheeks look huge. What a funny little girl.

She almost whent cross-eyed in this picture. She has Matt's blue eyes so that is fun. She looks a lot like me when I was a baby. It's just nice to see that she has some of my features and Matt's. We are just so lucky to have her!

I can't believe she is 3 months already!! She is just the happiest little baby. She is always smiling and playing with us. She makes us feel like the coolest people in the world. I just love her smile!

She loves to play with her stuffed animal Giraffe from her uncle Adam and aunt Heather. Its so soft and she can grab it and where does it go....straight to her mouth!

This is probably one of my favorite pictures of her ever. She loves to sleep in her car seat when I run errands and so I had to get this picture. She has such cute chubby cheeks!

Haley's Blessing

As you can tell Haley just loved being in her blessing dress. She is not a big fan of dresses. She was pretty good during her blessing though, she only cried a little while both her mom and dad cried!

Here she is snuggling her Grandpa. It was nice to have him, my brother and his wife come up from Oregon for the blessing. She really enjoyed seeing them and snuggling her uncle Adam.

She is getting so big. She is about a month and two weeks here. Ah I just love her so much.

About one month and two weeks here. She does the funniest things with her hands when she sleeps.

She is the cutest sleeper. She is about 2 weeks old her and is just sleeping away on her daddy.

Haley Ann Bostwick 3 days old!!! What a cutie. We just love her. She loves to be in just her diaper all snuggled in a fleece blanket. She especially loves her blankets from her Aunt Crystal!

Baby Update

So I thought I would give everyone a baby update. Sorry I haven't posted any pictures. I will do so soon! So we went to the Doctors today for our 36 week appointment. They wanted us to have an ultra sound because she said I am looking small. Well we come to find out that currently our baby is about 6 pounds 3 ounces with four weeks to go! I don't think she is going to be small. Our little Haley is going to be a good healthy size....hopefully not too big though..ouch! She is still due November 10th but they said she might come a little before then. We are just really excited and can't wait to meet her!!!

Kamden's 1 Year Birthday Party!

We went to Kamden's birthday party yesterday. He turned 1!!! My sister in law Crystal and her husband have the cutest kids; Kalli and Kamden. Here you have Kamden going to town on his cake that grandma Debbie made for him.

Here you have Kamden staring at his cake. He didn't know quite where to start until he saw the monkey which had some frosting on it for him to suck on. It was so cute!

Here Kamden had opened the present that Matt and I got for him. We thought that a truck with some blocks in it was an appropriate present for a boy. He had fun pushing it around so we think that he likes it!

Crystal is helping Kamden open his presents. Kalli was also a great helper. Kamden had a hard time opening the presents so Kalli generously helped him open them. She is an expert now at opening presents.

Here is a close up of the cake that Debbie made for Kamden. I was amazed on how she made such a cute train cake. It tasted delicious as well.

Amelia's Blessing in Oregon

We went to Oregon for Amelia's baby blessing. She is so cute. I have the cutest nieces ever! She is only 2 1/2 months and is holding up her own head. You can tell by her face though that she does not like tummy time.

So Annette gives Amelia "crazy mommy smooches" She would always tell us that Amelia gave her kisses back and she finally captured it! Nice big wet kiss.

This is the day of her blessing. Her grandma Nunn got her the dress that she is wearing in the picture for her blessing and it is so cute! I got her a white blanket. Annette wanted me to get it for her because I'm her favorite Aunt!! She was so good during her blessing, didn't cry at all.

I'm finally an Aunt on my side of the family!!!! This is Amelia Marie Nunn. My sister had her at 6:30 last night. She weighed 8lbs 1 ounce and was 20 inches long. They are going to call her Mia for short. She is so cute! My sister was in labor for almost 2 days! That has got to suck but now she has her and she is so adorable. My little niece Mia!!!

Letter to Obama from a real American

...You see, Mr. Obama, I'm the guy you intend to raise taxes on. I'm the guy who has spent 25 years toiling and sweating, fretting and fighting, stressing and risking, to build a business and get ahead. I'm the guy who has been on the very edge of bankruptcy more than a dozen times over the last 25 years, and all the while creating more and more jobs for East Texans who didn't want to take a risk, and would not demand from themselves what I have demanded from myself. I'm the guy you characterize as "the Americans who can afford it the most" that you believe should be taxed more to provide income redistribution "to spread the wealth" to those who have never toiled, sweated, fretted, fought, stressed, or risked anything. You want to characterize me as someone who has enjoyed a life of privilege and who needs to pay a higher percentage of my income than those who have bought into your entitlement culture. I resent you, Mr. Obama, as I resent all who want to use class warfare as a tool to advance their political career. What's worse, each year more Americans buy into your liberal entitlement culture, and turn to the government for their hope of a better life instead of themselves. Liberals are succeeding through more than 40 years of collaborative effort between the predominant liberal media, and liberal indoctrination programs in the public school systems across our land.

What is so terribly sad about this is this. America was made great by people who embraced the one-time American culture of self reliance, self motivation, self determination, self discipline, personal betterment, hard work, risk taking. A culture built around the concept that success was in reach of every able bodied American who would strive for it. Each year that less Americans embrace that culture, weall descend together. We descend down the socialist path that has brought country after country ultimately to bitter and unremarkable states. If you and your liberal comrades in the media and school systems would spend half as much effort cultivating a culture of can-do across America as you do cultivating your entitlement culture, we could see Americans at large embracing the conviction that they can elevate themselves through personal betterment, personal achievement, and self reliance. You see, when people embrace such ideals, they act on them. When people act on such ideals, they succeed. All of America could find herself elevating instead of deteriorating. But that would eliminate the need for liberal politicians, wouldn't it, Mr. Obama? The country would not need you if the country was convinced that problem solving was best left with individuals instead of the government. You and all your liberal comrades have got a vested interested in creating a dependent class in our country. It is the very business of liberals to create an ever expanding dependence on government. What's remarkable is that you, who have never produced a job in your life, are going to tax me to take more of my money and give it to people who wouldn't need my money if they would get off their entitlement mentality asses and apply themselves at work, demand more from themselves, and quit looking to liberal politicians to raise their station in life.

You see, I know because I've had them work for me before. Hundreds of them over these 25 years. People who simply will not show up to work on time. People who just will not work 5 days in a week, much less, 6 days. People always looking for a way to put less effort out. People who actually tell me that they would do more if I just would first pay them more. People who take off work to sit in government offices to apply to get free government handouts (gee, I wonder how things would have turned out for them if they had spent that time earning money and pleasing their employer?). You see, all of this comes from your entitlement mentality culture.

Oh, I know you will say I am uncompassionate. Sorry, Mr. Obama, wrong again. You see, I've seen what the average percentage of your income has been given to charities over the years of 2000 to 2004 (ignoring the years you started running for office - can you pronounce politically motivated), you averaged less than 1% annually. And your running mate, Joe Biden, averaged less than ½% of his annual income in charitable contributions over the last 10 years. Like so many liberals, the two of you want to give to the needy, just as long as it is someone else's money you are giving to them. I wonï¿½t say what I have given to charities over the last 25 years, but the percentage is several times more than you and Joe Biden combined (don't you just hate google?). Tell me again how you feel my pain.

In short, Mr. Obama, your political philosophies represent everything that is wrong with our country. You represent the culture of government dependence instead of self reliance; Entitlement mentality instead of personal achievement; Penalization of the successful to reward the unmotivated; Political correctness instead of open mindedness and open debate. If you are successful, you may preside over the final transformation of America from being the greatest and most self-reliant culture on earth, to just another country of whiners and wimps, who sit around looking to the government to solve their problems. Like all of western Europe. All countries on the decline. All countries that, because of liberal socialistic mentalities, have a little less to offer mankind every year.

Honeymoon!

Matt and I went on our honeymoon to Hawaii. It was so beautiful and we had a lot of fun. We went to the volcano on the big island but we couldn't get too close because it was erupting. The first picture is us in one of the lava tunnels. It was HUGE! We ended up hiking all over the area for a total of 8 miles in flip flops!

We also went to the beach almost every day. I love the beach so it was just nice to relax, tan and play in the water. Once when we were swimming in the ocean a sea turtle swam right by our feet! It was awesome. Our honeymoon was amazing and I hope that we can go back there again someday.

The happiest day of my life! We got married May 24th, 2008 in the Portland Temple. We had the reception at my house. We also had an open house in Utah at Matt's parents house on June 21st. We are happy the wedding is over but it was a beautiful day! One that we will never forget.

History of Matt and Lynette

Matt and I met our freshmen year at BYU. From the first moment I saw him I had the biggest crush ever! Luckily he felt the same way. About a month into the fall semester we started dating.

We soon became inseparable and would spend most of our time together. The next 6 months were amazing.

The end of the winter semester came and I was heading home to Oregon and Matt to New York for his MISSION! We hoped to date again when he got back but neither one of us knew what would happen.

2 LONG years passed. We saw each other the third day he was back. We started dating again that weekend! Both of us hoped it would happen and it did. Crazy how things work out! Lucky for us.
